was given yearly between 2000 and 2009.

The Accident-

On March 31, 2000, Jeremy attended the Sadie Hawkins Dance at The San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts.

The next morning, April 1st at 9:25am at the junction of 8 East and 15 North, he was killed in an automobile accident caused by an elderly driver making an illegal lane change.

He was on his way to a dance competition, along with other members of the C. Anthony Cole Repertory Theater, being held in Palm Desert, CA.

Jeremy was just 22 years old.

Remembering Jeremy

In a dream last night I saw

The other side of the mountain

There were palm trees and birds

And stones lying under the sun

From a distance, I saw you

        Shimmering like an oasis

With your arms in the air you

        Beckon for someone to come

Life is a golden river

        And we drift upon it

The current is swift and

Carries us down to the sea

Some days we find sweetness and

        Sadness enough for a lifetime

Still you dance on the waves

        Forever an angel to me
